She loves to hold on to her binkie when she is sucking it
We soon found out how small she is! she is wearing a premie onsie and it is still too big!
She didnt like her first bath too much! 
the day started out as a usual day, i got up and got dressed and ready for a day at the mall with my mom and sisters. i didnt feel any different and never would of guessed this would be the day Kambri was finally born. At around one o clock we were cruzing around the mall when i felt like i had peed my pants! i told mom that i felt something running down my legs and she was frantic! she told me to run to the bathroom, i was so embarrassed i almost cried. I was in denial tho, i had been to the hospital so many times before and they just sent me home everytime so i told my mom and denielle that i wasnt going back in till my water broke. i figured if my water had really broke i woud be in hard labor by now so i just told them i probably just peed on accident. They insisted we get me checked anyways so we got some wendy's(denielle's great idea) and headed over to the hospital. When we got there i was still not having any contractions so i really thought i was just peeing. But when the nurse tested the fluid she confirmed my water had ruptured. They decided they would wait for 4 hours to see if my contractions started naturally and if they didnt they would give me drugs to start them. Four hours later i was still not having any contactions at all so they hooked me up to the drugs, the contractions were crazy and definently not in any pattern, they once uped my dose of pitocin so much my utterus was in a constant contaction. This just wasnt working. it was around 7pm when the doctor finally decided for and internal monitor and after they put that in the real contractions started and i was in hard labor. Still only dialated to 4 i decided to wait a little longer before i got an epideral, after and hour thou i was more than ready for it. at about 8 o clock i got the epideral and felt SO much better. For a couple of hours i was changing slowly so Denielle and debrielle decided to go to walmart, at 11 o clock i was finally dialated to a 5-6 so my mom called them and told them to hurry back, eleven minutes later at 11:11pm i was already dialated to an 8! i wanted to have her on an odd day so i was really trying to hurry befor midnight. Everything after that happened so fast, the docter came in at 11:45pm and by 11:51pm Kambri Leigh Laird was born! it was really amazing when they put her on my stomach and i could finally see the baby i had been wondering about for 9 months.
